Our blade is the same one used in the making of the Shinto katana. The carbon steel hand-forged blade has been clay-fired and has a 60RC hardness rating on the edge and a 40RC on the back. The blade comes in a resting case and is ready to be mounted. The blade is 28" long.	Our folded steel blade is made in the same traditional way as our folded steel swords. These are the same ones used to mount our Tiger katana. The blade is available with or without a bo-hi (groove). The blade comes in a resting case and is ready to be mounted. The blade is 30.50" long.
