Kama

Mantis Swords offers Japanese swords, Samurai swords and Chinese weapons
Produced in our Hanwei factory, these kama are made from the same steel and with the same process as our Japanese swords. The Kama originally was a farming tool used by Japanese peasants and later became a weapon. Our Kama is made with a carbon steel blade that has been clay-fired and edge tempered. The long tang is deeply mounted into the white oak handle and is secured with two brass pins. The brass and steel furniture has an eyelet at one end which enables the user to turn the Kama into a Kusari-fundo by attaching a length of chain and a steel ball.  The blade is 7" long and the handle is 15.5" long.

 Steel balls are now made to connect to end of Kamas to turn it into a Kusari-fundo. You just need to  add the chain. $ 25.49 pr.
